With WonderCon Anaheim 2023 fast approaching, thought I'd drop an update on what I have planned since I will be tabling at this show. You can find me at the Artist Alley area at Table C-52 (same spot as last year). The show will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center on the weekend of March 24-26.
Being a 2D artist, there will naturally be some new art prints, but wanting to branch out more beyond just prints, especially for those who are running out of wall space, I will be adding a couple of new A2 sized greeting cards to the menu. These cards will be 'blank inside' cards but will feature the usual humor and charm on the outside. I will also be offering some original sketches as well. These sketches will be done through various mediums ranging from graphite pencils, brush pens, and inks. While there will be variety regarding subject matter, majority of these sketches are of on-location "urban" sketches. More specifically, several of these location sketches are from the Disneyland theme park right across the street from the convention center. So any fans of the theme park or just of one-of-a-kind original sketches, there will be a limited few available at the table. Moreover, all sketches will be pre matted on 5"x7" mats for easy framing.
In addition to these new items, returning will be several popular older products from previous shows as well. I do plan on phasing out some of these older items (to make room for the new) so make sure to grab 'em while they last! Some of these items include an art book, prints, stickers, and some good ol' fashioned...buttons?? I have yet to hop on the enamel pin bandwagon like everyone else, so for now, come grab yourself one of these rare antique circular items while they are still...around. Also to note, I will include one of these said old fashioned buttons with every purchase of a book or original sketch (while supplies last). Talk about an incentive! Keep an eye on any other surprises that aren't shown in any of these pictures too. (mysterious!) To those that can't make it to the show, many of these products will be made available on my online shop soon after the convention concludes.
To wrap things up, while I enjoy doing these art conventions, I actually don't do many each year. In fact, WonderCon Anaheim is currently the only show I'm officially signed up for this year. But if I do end up signing up for any other shows down the road, keep an eye out on this site for any updates on that. Until then, swing by that Artist Alley Table C-52 and say "hi" -- no purchases necessary! (but any purchases would still be nice 😅). Hope to see some of you guys there.
